Believe it or not the 2009-2010 Hockey Season is well underway at the North Suburban Hockey League!

I would first like to take this opportunity to thank most all the programs on the northshore who gave me the opportunity to visit with them this spring.  It was great to see folks who care and love the game as much as I do and truly believe in bringing fun back to the sport as well as developing young hockey players.  Thanks again!

2009-2010 X-Ice and Mite Instructional Season

The 2009-2010 X-Ice Season at the Kasabuski Arena and the North Suburban Hockey League will kickoff on Saturday morning September 19th at 9:00 a.m. with our Annual Orientation Program and Demonstration for new programs entering the league.  During our orientation program you will hear from our committee, speakers from MASS Hockey and USA Hockey on the importance of young player development and fun.  We will also give you the 2009-2010 North Suburban Hockey League X-Ice Handbook.  In the handbook it will explain our philosophy, our mission behind our program as well as important contact information and a week by week X-Ice Skills Lesson Plan for the entire year.

Of course, all games for North Suburban X-Ice will be held on Sundays here at Kasabuski and our skills sessions will be on Saturday mornings, also at Kasabuski.  We are working on our ice alotment and schedules now.  Please contact the North Suburban Hockey office and the League Director, John Hatch with your registrations as soon as possible.  Thanks for your cooperation.

2009-2010 North Suburban Mite Instructional Hockey League

The North Suburban Hockey League Mite Instructional Buzzer Hockey Division is entering its 24th year.  This division is the flagship of North Suburban Hockey.  We are proud to have a minimum of 8 - 12 teams in this division every year.  Our Mite Instructional Playoffs are more exciting than the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the NHL.  Last season all nine teams had a successful year and great experience.  We look forward to another great season for our Mite Instructional Buzzer League held here at the Kasabuski Arena every Sunday morning, 7:30 - Noon.  We are scheduling ice alotments now as well as putting our season together.  Please contact the North Suburban Hockey office and the Director, John Hatch, with your registration as soon as possible, 781-231-4183 X 102.
