This document describes the meeting for ice allocation and includes the required forms for ice requests for the 2010-2011 season.

X-Ice Game Schedule has changed... Please check your schedule.

The final schedule has been posted for the year.  We would like to congratulate everyone on their progression At this time during the season for their improvement we eliminated the two divisions and are letting everyone play one another.  It is also at this time that you will go from playing X-Ice to Half-Ice.  In addition it will makes things more fun with the coaches discretion you may introduce goalies.... it is not mandatory.  Same rules apply, no score and the idea is for the puck to keep moving and the kids to have fun.  We look forward to a great rest of the season.

Effective, Sunday, November 29, 2009, Public Skating will be starting for the up-coming season.  Public Skating hours are Sunday's at 2:30 P.M. - 3:30 P.M., Monday, Wednesday and Friday  9:50 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. and Friday nights at 7:10 P.M. to 8:10 P.M.

All Coaches of the Mite Instructional Teams:  Please call in your scores to Judy at 781-231-4183 or email her at dmaniff@aol.com for the following dates:  9/27, 10/4, 10/18 and 10/25.  Game sheets have been misplaced and we apologize for any inconvience.  We would like to update the stats but are unable to do so without the scores of these games.  Thank you for your patience.

 It is very important for communication that I have all X-Ice Coaches' e-mail addresses.  You may e-mail me at any time if you have any questions through the league's website.  I will be making updates through the holiday season for parity adjustments.  The North Suburban Hockey League website e-mail is checked 3 times a day, 7 days a week.

Thank you for those who attended the meeting on Thursday, October 22nd  to go over Skills and the X-Ice philosophy.  .

                                CROSS ICE ORIENTATION

• On September 19th, Saturday morning 9:00 A.M. at the Kasabuski Arena we will have the North Suburban Hockey League Annual Orientation Program for all members participating in the Cross Ice League.  This orientation is for program board members, directors, coaches and interested parents.  We will explain our philosphy and mission, go over skills and game set up.  We will also have speakers from Massachusetts Hockey as well as USA Hockey.  We look forward in seeing you all and wish everybody a great season.  For more information, you can call the League Director, John Hatch at 781-231-4183, Ext. 102.

2009-2010 North Suburban Mite Instructional Hockey League

The North Suburban Hockey League Mite Instructional Buzzer Hockey Division is entering its 24th year.  This division is the flagship of North Suburban Hockey.  The league schedule will be posted this week due to player and program registrations to accommodate several programs late registrations.  Our first games will begin on Sunday September 27th at 8:40 and 9:50 a.m.   Our Mite Instructional Playoffs are more exciting than the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the NHL.  Last season all nine teams had a successful year and great experience.  We look forward to another great season for our Mite Instructional Buzzer League held here at the Kasabuski Arena every Sunday morning, 7:30 - Noon.  We are scheduling ice alotments now as well as putting our season together.  Please contact the North Suburban Hockey office and the Director, John Hatch, with your registration as soon as possible, 781-231-4183 X 102.
